Owl Magic began its journey in 2007 when David Morrison was given his first bird, a Barn Owl named Cuddles, by Kelburn Falconry Centre where he was a a volunteer. It was not long before David’s owl collection grew and became a hobby that needed to pay for itself.
In 2020 just before the Pandemic hit, David retired and Tracey Leonard took over as owner after working with David for several years. Tracey, who was previously a Teacher, changed the focus of Owl Magic and added new activities, a new education programme and new systems that staff would work within.
Owl Magic has never changed it’s focus though and that is, the welfare of the birds is of utmost importance and comes before everything else. These are not ‘just birds’ to us but members of our family whom we love dearly.
